Donate to help Jeff Hawarden and Louise O'Brien

Calling on all Jackson Memorial Allumni's and Friends and friends of friends that care.

We are fundraising for Jeff and Louise, because they are on journey that is not for the faint of heart. Jeff is a Head and Neck Cancer survivor who has unfortunately relasped and the cancer has spread to an even more dangerous level then previouly thought. His cancer is incurable so he is listed as terminal. On top of the emotional pain that comes with a battle against cancer, there is also a lot of financial stress that comes with a cancer diagnosis. Jeff was the primary household earner and due to his cancer he hasn't been able to work full time since 2019. When he lost his employment, he also lost his medical insurance and life insurance provided through his former employer.

The Hawarden's are proud people and they are not asking for hand outs. I am asking all who see this to offer them a hand up. Louise has had to cash in her retirement to pay for their home and car.

Jeff and Louise are facing large medical bills that will only grow as Jeff's treatments continue, as well as other expenses they have to face such as high property taxes (DUE MAY 1 2022)and living expenses. Our goal with this fundraiser is to provide Jeff and Louise with the support they need to take care of these bills, so they can focus on eachother during this difficult time. They are fighting a hard battle, and we want to show them that we stand with them. Every dollar counts, so thank you for showing your support for these strong people in any way that you can.
