We're fundraising for Jason (and Bandit) as he battles cancer. Jason has always been such a strong and hardworking person. He volunteers around the community and always goes out of his way to help others. He is a kind and gentle person, and not one to ask for help so we're asking for him.

From Jason's mom Rhonda:

"Jason's struggle with cancer has been a difficult journey. He started feeling very nauseous and couldn’t keep his body warm. Upon going to the doctors and getting tests ran, they discovered that his appendix was leaking and he was totally septic. They couldn’t remove the appendix until the sepsis was cleared up, which became an almost impossible task. The doctors were finally able to do an exploratory procedure and found that it was cancer eating at the appendix. Jason started a severe round of chemotherapy infusions and pills. It was rounds of CT Scans, MRIs, Pet Scans and chemo for over a year. The tumor in his pelvis area has kept growing and has grown around all the pelvic organs and his right hip, including the muscles. There is no choice now but to try and remove the tumor. It’s going to take an army of surgeons and the recovery time will be long. Jason has lost his job and therefore his insurance. He has no other income to cover his rent and bills.

Jason was born with a heart of gold. He has always been quick to help others and is known as the “Dog whisperer”. Jason could work circles around most people and has always been completely independent. He is now put in a position where he is helpless to make an income and it just tears him up to ever ask anyone for anything. This is why I am asking for help on behalf of my son.
