We are long-time friends of Jarod Smith and his family, as well as co-workers. This family means the world to us, as we have known them through weddings, children, holiday festivities, building a business and personal challenges.

We are raising funds to help support the Smiths through a recent family trauma. Jarod was hospitalized in July after a rock-climbing accident. While the future is still uncertain, the road to recovery is likely to be a year or more, and Jarod will be unable to return to work during this time.

The goal is to give the Smiths some piece of mind so they can focus on their family and Jarod's recovery with less financial worry. All of the funds raised will go directly to the Smiths' bank account to help cover the costs of medical bills and rehabilitation which may exceed their insurance coverage and additional unforeseen family expenses.
