Hi, my name is Melvina Israel and my family and I are asking for help towards support for my brother-in-law, James Steele in his end-of-life care. This is a very sensitive matter to his family. James is married to Joyce Steele. He was a very hard-working, healthy, well-respected, loving husband, and father, a family man and a very devoted Christian. He is adored by his two daughters and 12-year-old grandson. James is a gentle and kind man, and is well-loved and respected among family and friends,

In August 2021, James contracted COVID, along with his wife, daughter and grandson. The daughter and grandson have recovered, but James has serious side effects and Joyce has long haul COVID. Since then, James has been hospitalized numerous times with serious complications and other sicknesses. Within the last two weeks, his condition has declined rapidly. James' family and doctors are working hard to give him the best medical treatment possible. As of Saturday, with nothing else that the doctors can do, we had to place James in hospice/end-of-life care, which is proving to be a very costly venture. This is hard for his wife and family. Joyce had to swallow her pride and ask for help. James has an insurance policy that will not cover all his hospital, hospice, funeral expenses and burial. I’m afraid that we’re left with no other option than to ask for your help. We’re looking to raise $20,000 to cover hospital, Hospice, funeral expenses and burial expenses. All donations will help the family through these devastating events. Any amount of donations will be greatly appreciated.
