Dear lovely members,

As you know, we have always strived to run our meetup free of charge, and are very proud of the way the group has grown over the past 5 years, with its unique vibe, and great people thanks to all of you!

Advertising our events on the meetup app has helped us keep track of numbers, and most importantly for safety purposes a list of who attends each event and who we admit to the group, with the ability to contact specific individuals if needs be. Whilst it will never be our intention to ever start charging for events, some of you may be aware that the meetup app charges a regular subscription fee that must be paid to continue using the platform. This price has recently increased to over £100 every 6 months and, although by no means obligatory, we would like to ask for your help in the form of any donation, no matter how small, to go towards this, hence the smooth and safe running of our meetups. We assure you that any donations will go solely towards the regular Meetup subscription and nothing else.

皆さんのおかげでこの５年間にわたるミートアップの成長や独特の雰囲気を誇りに思っており、心から感謝しております。

ご存じの通り、これまで無料でミートアップを提供するように努めてまいりましたし、どうしてもそのように続けていきたいと考えております。

ミートアップのアプリでイベントを宣伝することによって参加者数を把握するのはもちろん、安全上の目的でもグループに誰を受け入れるか、各イベントの参加者リストも記録できて、いざとなれば特定の方までご連絡できます。

私どもは決してイベントの参加料を請求するつもりはございません。　しかし、ご存じの方がいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、オーガナイザーが定期的にアプリにサブスクリプション料金を請求されます。

サブスクリプション料金が最近上昇してきて、６カ月当たり£１００以上となりましたので、決して義務はないのですが、円滑かつ安全にイベントが行え続けられるように少しでも寄付していただければ非常に幸いに存じます。いただいた寄付金がサブスクリプション料金にのみ充てられることを保証いたします。

どれほど少額でもとても感謝いたします。
