Hello everyone, my name is Erin McIntyre, my family and I have been long time friends of Jacob, Shasta and Christine since I was a toddler. Jacob and his family are native to Amherst. Jacob is in Calgary while Shasta and Christine are 4 hours away in Cranbrook BC. He has a long hard road ahead of him after receiving the news that his fingers and legs from knees down will need to be amputated after being found near his home outside with severe hypothermia 2 weeks ago. Noone was sure he'd make it through the night but we are so lucky he is fighting and alive! I am fundraising to ease the financial stress on the family of the travelling they have been doing from Cranbrook as he is in Calgary hospital receiving care and treatment. This is also to help Jacob with prosthetics and other accommodations he will need in his long recovery. I would like to reach out to you all and spread the word to help the Boudreau's at this time.
