My name is Jacob. I'm a father to three wild and wonderful little girls, currently in the process of divorce. Life is expensive enough as it is, and I'm doing everything I can to make it work and keep 50/50 custody of my girls, but my car, after I just dropped more than its actual value into getting its transmission replaced, has now stopped working in a multitude of new and different ways.

I have a vehicle available for me to buy, but I would have to choose between food, rent, and utilities, or buying the car so I can get to and from work and be able to drive my girls around. It seems like every time I think things might start to get easier, something happens to set me back again. And I know, compared to what other people use this site to raise funds for, getting a used car is such an insignificant thing... But then, I figure if that one lady can raise millions of dollars for yelling racial slurs at a child, maybe I might be able to raise enough to get this car and not get evicted because of it.
