Help Jack raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital!
Jack's Journey - Supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital
Our autistic son Jack is running two 5 km races ( 29th June and 5th October 2025) to fund raise for Great Ormond Street Hospital - a place that has played a crucial role in his health journey. As a teenager , and unbeknownst to us, Jack was battling a form of severe inflammatory bowel disease, a complex condition that no doctor in the UK was able, or prepared to diagnose in our son. It wasn't until we found Dr Krigsman, a specialist in the U.S, that Jack received exploratory procedures and a proposed treatment protocol that would truly help him.
Despite others in the UK medical profession refusing to take on Jack's case, a compassionate consultant at Great Ormond Street , Dr Neil Shah, listened, understood the severity of his condition , and was willing to take on his complex case. This care made a world of difference to our son. Now Jack wants to give back to the hospital , that stood by him when noone else would.
Please support his efforts and help make a difference for other children facing serious and often misunderstood health challenges.
