Hello animal lovers ,

I have a very sad story to share with you today ...

The dog you see in the photos is Ivy - a brutally neglected little soul .

A few months ago one of our volunteers moved to the country side in Quebec . The first living being that met him was Ivy ...It came out that she was owned by his neighbor . Ivy was and keeps being in a horrible shape . She is extremely malnourished and with major health issues . You can see the huge infection on her tummy . Of course ,she has been used as a breeding machine and she hasn't been sterilized. She wasn't offered any medical help when she developed bad incontinence. She was just left outdoors in the dead of winter . No bed , no shelter , no regular food .

Our volunteer started feeding her and letting her to warm up indoors sometimes which triggered the anger of the " owner " . After multiple discussions the above mentioned individual finally agreed to sell Ivy for $ 2000 .

I know it is ridiculous. But I also know that if we don't buy her off , we won't be able to get her any help ...and we are her only hope to get veterinary treatment and chances for a better life .

We don't need authorities involved . If Bylaw gets informed, they will bring Ivy to a shelter . And being incontinent , she will be in a risk of euthanasia as a non adoptable pet .

We are asking for your help to collect the needed amount and take possession of her .

Her future medical bills will be huge , that's for sure , but maybe we'll find a dog rescue willing to take her in care ?

If not , she will stay with us and step by step we'll bring her back to health if it's doable at all .

This case is shocking. In order to protect our volunteer's safety , I won't mention actual location or our volunteer's name .

Please give us a hand to save Ivy ! We need her out of this horror movie before it's way too late and her health is ruined beyond repair .
