Hi, I am Jay Feldman, raising funds for my brother, Ira, who contracted cancer (Multiple Myeloma) in his jaw. He will be having surgery to completely rebuild his jaw and clean out the cancer. The surgery is over 10 hours with extensive rehab and also rebuilding his gums and having dental implants done.
A Hero in Need: Please Help My Brother Rebuild His Life
For over 20 years, my brother has dedicated his life to helping others—working tirelessly as a medical technician in the ER, in-home care, and rehabilitation. He’s always been the one to show up for those in pain, offering his time, strength, and compassion to help others heal.
But now, he’s the one who needs healing.
He’s been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer that has severely damaged his jaw. The cancer has eroded the bone, and now he faces a complex and life-saving 10-hour surgery to remove the cancer and reconstruct his jaw using bone from his leg. Afterward, he’ll face a long and difficult rehabilitation process.
This battle is not just physical—it’s financial. Like many selfless healthcare workers, he has always put others first, but now the costs of surgery, recovery, and time away from work are far beyond what he can manage alone.
He has children, grandchildren, and a community that loves him. He’s a humble man of service who never asked for anything—but today, we are asking for him.
It’s his turn to receive the same love and care he has given to so many.
We have an incredible medical team in Long Island ready to perform this life-changing surgery—but we need your help to make it possible.
Please, if you can, consider donating to his GoFundMe. Every dollar helps. And if you’re unable to give, sharing this message with your network means the world to us.
