Our brother in law Jodie has recently been diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma, which has unfortunately spread to his tongue, jaw and lymph nodes.

He will need to undergo invasive surgery to remove what parts of the cancer they can, followed by reconstructive surgery radiation treatment and a long road of rehabilitation. Doris and Jodie will have to travel to Vancouver for these procedures and remain there during this hard time.

This will be a difficult stressful time. They will not be able to work, and will have many expenses for travel and staying in Vancouver. We know that Jodie and Doris are strong and may not ask for the help they might need, so we want to do this on their behalf.

They have a long road ahead, and financial stress does not need to be added to what they are facing. If you would like to donate and help in anyway you can, it is so appreciated. Please keep them in your thoughts.
