Hi, I'm Brooke, Holly's daughter.

For those who don’t know or are not in the loop… I’m going to make this easier. Everyone has been so kind and loving with their prayers and thoughts that they need to know.

My mom & dad left on November 12th on a trip to Ireland with my Nana. Mom started feeling poorly midweek, and on Friday the 18th, dad took mom to the emergency room due to abdominal issues. Fast forward a few hours, she was taken into emergency surgery and septic due to an abscess that she did not know she had. Saturday, she was doing okay other than being in pain and being sedated from the medication. Saturday night, her fever spiked, and her vital signs became abnormal. They did a CT, which showed she needed another surgery. She is extremely sick due to the infection and necrotic tissue they found during surgery. As of this writing, she has had several surgeries to remove the necrotic tissue. She is in ICU on a ventilator to allow her body to rest as they continue to monitor & clean her wound. We are fundraising to raise money to help get her home when she is stable enough to travel.
