Donate to Help Hilda

Today I helped an elderly lady called Hilda she 89 years old and honestly broke my heart she was struggling crossing the road coming back from B&Q because her refrigerator had broken on arrival they told her because it was 40 years old they couldn’t help her

.

She has never travelled out no further than across the road from her home to get what she needed from the shop and today she just decided to take a bus ride to try get her fridge fixed! 25 mins away from where she lives

.

She walked all the way from Manchester fort to the bus stop and every few steps had to take a break I decided to ask her if she needed help and I offered to take her home and she replied “I would really appreciate that” ❤️

.

On our drive home to her house she was telling me how much she wanted to just spend 30 mins day in her garden but she couldn’t because it had got so bad it wasn’t possible to see her green house anymore because all the bushes had become over grown and just too much for her to handle so she spends alot of time inside the house.

After she confirmed she didn’t have any family members or visitors and gets very lonely on her own really it’s so sad to see.

I’m asking for some help and support as a community if there is a few of us that can come together to get her garden sorted and fixed up for her to atleast enjoy some time looking at her flowers and plants that she has always loved to do!

I’m also looking on getting her a new fridge freezer as the one she currently has is not working

.
