Hello my name is Vikki from London, UK. I'm fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Haytham, his wife Saja and their two-year old twins Yousef and Celia.

(Please note this gofundme is a continuation from this families previous gofundme). 

Haytham, an accountant and Saja, a counsellor have been married for 7 years.

They had long dreamt of becoming parents, but struggled to have children until one day their dream came true and Saja fell pregnant with twins.

Haytham and Saja were overjoyed to learn this news and they enjoyed their new lives as parents, but since October 2023 their whole world has been turned upside down.

Their family home that they'd put so much love and care into was destroyed in a few moments from an explosion, they were forced to pack their bags and leave whilst holding their young children, not knowing where they would go or what lay ahead of them.

Haytham's family business was destroyed. Everything that they had worked so hard for was taken away from them. But worst of all, Yousef and Celia have lost so much of their childhood. They have now spent almost half their lives in this horrific situation.

Rather than enjoying these precious years with the children, a time when many parents refer to as the best days of their lives, this family experience daily fear, terror and endless anxiety.

They were displaced over and over again and experienced many terrifying things. 

Now that a ceasefire is in place our focus for this campaign is to support Haytham to rebuild their home. 

With your support this family can begin rebuild their lives and restore some semblance of the life they once had.

Our brothers and sisters of humanity, you noble-hearted people, you seekers of goodness.

We appeal to you, in these difficult moments, as we suffer the woes of siege and war, and gran under the weight of poverty and desitution.

We in Gaza, men and women, elderly and children, live in tragic humanitarian conditions, lacking the most basic elements of a decent life. Food is scarce, medicine is missing, and shelter is threatened with collapse.

But, in the midst of this darkness, the sun of hope shines thanks to your giving and generosity.
