Hi, my name is Nanci, but my new name is Mimi.

As many of you know, my daughter Hannah has been on bedrest in the hospital while pregnant with twin boys. At 23 weeks gestation, the babies entered this world. It was a time of extreme stress and emotion. The most traumatic event we have ever lived through. My firstborn grandson did not survive the birth. Tiny Dallas Del Shawn Jr. was born on 7/24/22, weighing only 1 lb 2oz with thick eyebrows like his mommy and long legs and big feet like his daddy. Our family is devastated beyond words by this loss. However, we find great comfort knowing he is in heaven with our Lord and Savior, surrounded by many loved ones.

On 7/25/22, Austin Taylor entered the world weighing only 1 lb 2.7 oz with a strong heart rate and breathing on his own. He has shorter legs and smaller feet than his big brother. Even though he continues to do great, he has a long journey in the NICU. He is intubated and receiving excellent care around-the-clock. He will probably remain there until close to his 11/17 due date. I know my God is close to his side, and His angels surround his room.
