My name is Haitham Hammad, and I'm from the Gaza Strip.
I'm a simple man, a father and husband, who suddenly found myself in the heart of a war. I never imagined such a war in my life, but it has robbed me of security, health, stability, and all the essentials of a dignified life.
Since the war began, we've been displaced multiple times. I live with my family in a tent that offers no protection from the winter cold or the rain. Every rainy night, the tents flood, and with them, fear in our hearts. We, and more than a million others here, are simply struggling to survive the cold, hunger, and fear.
During this war, I suffered a severe shoulder injury. I'm in constant pain and urgently need medical treatment and surgery. Unfortunately, I can't afford it. Access to healthcare in Gaza has become extremely limited, and for my condition, the necessary diagnosis and treatment are no longer available.
The hardest part is that I've become a father to a baby boy who's only one month old, born during this war. A child whose only fault is being born into this world amidst destruction. He needs milk, diapers, clothes, and healthcare, and I am unable to provide even the most basic necessities.
I launched this campaign because I reached a point where silence was no longer an option. I am asking for help with dignity, not as a luxury, but for treatment, for my children, and for a chance to live in peace and security.
Every donation, no matter how small, means:
Treatment to ease my pain
Warmth in a cold tent
Milk for an innocent child
And new hope for a family struggling to survive
Thank you to everyone who has read my story,
And thank you to every compassionate heart that has decided to be a part of our survival.

Thanks to God, we were able to reach the city of Khan Yunis, which is my city where I used to live. It has become rubble. I have lost everything in it. My home has become rubble, and my memories from childhood have disappeared.
A few weeks ago, I went to the pharmacy to get infant formula for my nephew and there was a bombing very near by. Thank God, I was able to escape.
Last year before the war
Please help us escape to safety.
The funds will be used for evacuation from Gaza, the current price is $7,500 for an adult, plus $600 for visa fees. Money is also needed for transportation from the border to Cairo, living expenses (rent, food, clothes etc) once in Egypt, plus medical costs to get my shoulder surgery done.
