Meet Gary, a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, and more recently a cancer warrior. Gary has always been an overall healthy person. Seemingly small medical issues cropped up at the end of June/ beginning of July. A doctor wanting to run blood work would change his life. Blood work came back, and Gary was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia) on July 17. He spent a month in hospital receiving agressive treatment to kill the cancer. It did its job well, but the fight isn’t over. His next step on this journey will take him to Calgary where he will undergo stem cell replacement.

This is where we come in. He will have to rent a place in Calgary for 2 months, and after treatment he can’t drive for 3 months (driving is how he makes his living) or resume working for a year. On top of his pre existing bills, this is going to be a struggle, and a financial stressor.

His family is mounting this gofundme so he has less stress and can focus on getting better. Anything you can spare will not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
