Donate to Help Fund Cosmo’s Surgery

Hi everyone, my name is Harry, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I need your help.

Earlier tonight, my 1-year-old cat, Cosmo, came hobbling home, accompanied by his brother and sister. He was covered in cuts and clearly in pain, with a severe limp. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where they discovered he has a displaced fracture in his upper right humerus, likely the result of a collision with a car. The injury will require surgery, amputation or in the very worst case, euthanasia.

Right now, Cosmo is being monitored closely. He’s on fluids and pain relief as they work to stabilise him and check for any further internal injuries.

Cosmo means the absolute world to me. As some of you may know, I’ve dedicated my education and career to working with animals, and he’s been such a big part of my life through it all. He’s full of personality, endlessly affectionate, and brings comfort and joy every single day. He’s especially close with his brother, Buzz, to which he is normally tied at the hip, playing, sleeping, and exploring together. It’s been heartbreaking to see Cosmo so frightened and in pain, and to watch Buzz wander around the house looking for him.

Unfortunately, Cosmo isn’t insured, and the costs have already reached into the thousands, just for tonight. We’re now facing further expenses for surgery and aftercare.
