Help Foxy Recover From Neglect and Abuse

Meet Foxy — a brave, kind-hearted horse who has already been through more than any animal ever should. She was emaciated in a dealer’s yard, weak and suffering. Despite everything, her gentle nature shone through, and we knew we had to give her a fighting chance.

As soon as we rescued her, Foxy was taken straight to the vets. Her first treatments alone have already cost £400, and this is only the beginning of her journey. She has had a full dental, blood panel and multivitamin injections to see her through. She has a painful, ulcerated mouth and requires a specialised refeeding program to carefully and safely rebuild her strength. Without this tailored care, she would not recover.

To make matters worse, her passport was falsified in an attempt to disguise her true age, claiming she was 7 years younger than she really is. Foxy is actually 20 years of age. This deceit shows just how vulnerable she has been in the wrong hands. But with the right love, care, and medical attention, Foxy still has many happy years ahead of her.
