Hi, my name is Wendi Hays, and some of you may know me as the "traffic girl" for Memphis and Nashville. I'm coming here, hat in hand, for some help, as my husband Chris within a matter of 5 days, was diagnosed with a kidney tumor that needs to be removed on Dec 15th. He is self-employed, and I don't make as much as I should, so losing one paycheck will be a struggle. Add to the fact that we had to move unexpectedly over the summer, which wiped out our savings.

It's the holiday season, we're all strapped, and most of us are just getting by as it is post-pandemic. I just thought I would come here in case someone might have a little bit to help.

We have five senior cats, and food & litter alone sets us back on a good day. Any bit will help us pay bills and buy groceries during the next 4-6 weeks of his recovery.

Thankfully, the removal of his kidney makes his cancer 100% curable, so we are blessed with that. And, if all you can do is send good vibes, pray, light a candle, etc., we will gladly accept that too. Thank you so much for listening.
