My name is Vera and I am 15 years old and a high school student in Livingston, New Jersey.

Growing up, my mom had always told me stories about where she was born: Nepal, the beautiful country that she spent her childhood in. Unfortunately, recent disastrous floods there have caused hundreds of deaths and thousands of missing people.

I want to collect funds to give back to the people of Nepal, specifically, people all over the country who are struggling due to these floods. Even a small donation will go a long way- anything helps.

I will donate 100% of these donations to an organization that I am in touch with- the Lions Club of Nepal. This organization has people actively working on-ground for disaster relief.
