Hi, we’re the team at The Crusty Cob shop, a family owned small business established in 2021. We are based in Lenton, Nottingham and have been feeding the people of Nottingham for almost 5 years! We have recently faced some heartbreak regarding the shop and need your help to keep us open! Read our story below:

On Monday 23rd February, we arrived ready to open our doors and start serving the hungry people of Nottingham however the window of the front door had been smashed due to someone attempting to break in. We still decided to open and stay positive however later that day, they came back and tried to steal our tip jar. Luckily thank you to one of our wonderful staff members Fiona and a lovely regular customer Lewis they managed to get the tip jar off of him and got him to leave. We thought this would be the end of it and decided to report it to the police just to make sure they knew of the incident. Unfortunately the series of events doesn't end here and he came back in the early hours of Wednesday morning and threw a brick through our biggest shop window, crawled inside and started looking for things to steal. He unfortunately stole money , rummaged and took stock items and caused lots of damage. The biggest devastation that we are now faced with is the breakage to our shop window and needing to upgrade our security measures with the inability to do this due to lack of funding.
