My name is Fatma Alashqar, and I am an English Literature student at Al-Aqsa University in Gaza. I am still alive, but barely holding on. My family and I were forced to flee our home in the northern Gaza Strip, and we have been displaced several times, eventually reaching Rafah, where we now live in a tent.

Our daily struggle for food, water, internet, and the basic necessities of survival is unimaginable. For nearly six months, we have endured relentless hardship, pain, and devastation. Everything I once knew has been shattered by war, and the toll it has taken on my family and those around me is overwhelming.

We have lost our home, our belongings, and any semblance of a normal life. My family in northern Gaza is trapped in an area with no food, scarce water, and constant shelling. The violence has stripped us of everything—even the simple joys of life.

I’ve lost dear friends, university classmates, and neighbors. I’ve seen my family suffer in ways I never thought possible.

I am asking for your help to survive and evacuate from this war-torn region. Every donation brings us closer to safety and a chance to rebuild our lives.
