Hi, my name is Petrina, and I’m fundraising for my friend Faruk, who was detained by the Australian government on Manus Island for 6 years. He was brought to Australia for medical treatment, but instead was locked up in hotel detention for years. He now lives in the community but has had to give up his job as a forklift driver because of a medical condition that has required multiple surgeries.
