Typhoon Kalmaegi was a devastating storm that obliterated villages and cities in the central and southern regions of the Philippines. Officially, the death toll is currently 114 but continues to climb, with some estimates over 350+ deaths. Dozens more are still missing.

Negros is one of the islands reeling from the destruction caused by Kalmaegi. Hundreds of thousands are without power or shelter. Many of those affected are families with small children and elders who are the most at risk.

We are fundraising to provide funds to families in the Canlaon area of Negros. 100% of this money will go directly into the hands of the families that need them -- not through the potentially corrupt bureaucrats and officials who have stymied the flood prevention infrastructure promised to the Filipino people.
