My name is Ali Aruqi, and I have been donating to families in need in Gaza through organisations, friends, and family members who live in Gaza and know people who are in need. The number of requests for help from Gaza exceeds my capacity, which is why I decided to start this crowdfunding campaign.

Only a small percentage of the aid international organisations send to Gaza is allowed to enter. The remaining supplies are blocked from entering. The humanitarian aid that is being allowed to enter Gaza amounts to less than 5% of the needs.

For most people in Gaza, the only way to obtain food, water, and sanitary products is by purchasing them from within Gaza, using the scarce supplies that have been stored since before the war.

I chose to donate money directly to families in the hope that they can find resources to purchase what they need until the blockade is lifted and more aid is allowed in.

The situation in Gaza is very critical, and many families are struggling to find and buy food, especially those with limited economic means.

The money will be sent to Palestinian accounts, taken out in cash and given to the families in cash.

Any donation given would be of great help to the families in need.
