Hello, thanks for reading. My 22yr old son Emilio, had his car smashed while parked in front of our house on 7/19/25 by a drunk driver. Being an older used car, we only had the bare minimum insurance, covers other peoples car and bodily injury. He is home for the summer but lives on campus at Northern Arizona University during the school year (2.5hrs from home). He'll be heading back to school in a couple weeks. Hes home still and working day time. All his summer money needs to help me a little and go to tuition, dorms, and food. Im a night nurse so even now, its a struggle getting him to and from work due to Im sleeping during the day when he has to leave and Im at work when he gets off shift. I have another younger son at the same University but he doesn't have a car as all his classes are close by or online. I have stage 4 cervical cancer and cannot physically work any more than I already do to help ease this situation. I support both my boys 100% financially still while they're in school. So I'm not able to help much with getting a used car for Emilio. Emilio is very smart and is on his last year for his Bachelors in Science, Mechanical Engineering degree. His goals are to work for NASA, Lockheed Martin or Boeing. He is a very respectful, and old fashion kind of guy and being so young, has a lot to handle with me being sick and him basically head of household.
