Elderly Couple lost everything in Wennington Fire

Hi we are the Ling and Castle family’s trying to raise funds for our Uncle and Aunt to get back on their feet.

They’re names are Alf and Helen they’re in their 70’s disabled, they recently lost everything in the Devasting Wennington Wild Fires!

originating from a poor area in East London and Alf being told he would never amount to anything due to struggles with reading and writing setting out to prove them wrong he grafted all his life and 38 years ago manage to get a mortgage on a run down property which he continued to graft to pay for and do up, where they had many decades of glorious years with their family making happy memories paying off their mortgage and moving in to retirement with Alf caring for his disabled wife Helen more and more until Tuesday the 19th of July when they’re world was changed forever as they watched all their worldly belongs, including sentimental piece such as Alf loving restored old car, table and chairs Helen’s mum gave her before she died, all their photos and memories of their life together go up in flames
