Hi, my name is Al. My co-worker Earl Malinog, who lives in the Philippines, recently had his home devastated by a typhoon.
Floodwaters rose to nearly 2 meters (over 6.5 feet) inside his home, damaging most of their appliances and belongings. Part of the roof collapsed. With no electricity or running water, Earl, his wife, young son, and father were forced to flee and seek shelter at a relative’s house, wading through dangerous debris and powerful winds just to get there.
To make matters worse, Earl’s father is a farmer and lost his entire rice crop, which was their main source of income.
Earl is a kind, hardworking person who never asks for anything. But right now, his family truly needs help.
I know times are tough for everyone, myself included, but even a small donation can make a huge difference. Whether it’s $5, $10, or simply sharing this page, your support can help them rebuild, replace essential items, and get back on their feet. They can use these funds to help rebuild their home and get their power restored and water back online and get items replaced that were damaged by flooding.
If you’re able, please consider donating to give Earl’s family hope during this incredibly difficult time. We will work to transfer the funds to him by way of bank transfer to his Philippines account. I will be managing the funds and with the help of a fellow co-worker Joe F. he will help me transfer the money to Earls account in the Philippines. Joe has experience in doing this since he has family in the Philippines.
Thank you so much for reading, and for any support you can give.
