Support Gender-Affirming Care for Our Friend

For as long as he can remember, Drake has known who he is—a man. But for much of his life, the world didn’t see him that way. Now, after years of reflection, therapy, and courage, Drake is finally embracing his true self, and he’s never been happier. One important step remains in his journey: gender-affirming surgeries. He will start with top surgery in April.

Drake has dedicated his life to serving others. He works at a nonprofit, walking alongside those experiencing homelessness and making the world a better place. Now, it’s time for us to walk alongside him.

This surgery isn’t just a medical procedure—it’s a life-changing affirmation of who Drake is. It will ease the internal struggles he has carried for years, help him step into his full confidence, and allow him to better serve his community by showing up as his authentic self.

But like so many others, the financial burden of gender-affirming care is a heavy one. While insurance covers much of the cost, Drake still needs to pay a $5,000 deductible—an amount that, as a nonprofit worker, is difficult to afford alone.
