Hello friends and loved ones of the internet!

I'm posting this fundraiser to assist with covering my upcoming top surgery (!) in a few months.

I recently achieved one of my dreams of earning a PhD in neuroscience, but I need support from my community to achieve my other life-long dream of receiving gender-affirming top surgery.

Those who know me know that I have continuously advocated for the rights and bodily autonomy of my queer and trans community. Given the current climate against transgender people, I can't put off this life-saving surgery any longer.

I have exhausted all avenues to try to get this surgery covered by insurance, but unfortunately due to the many transphobic obstacles in accessing gender-affirming healthcare, I must pay for this procedure completely out of pocket. After using my savings to pay for the initial deposit to schedule my surgery, I am now raising funds to cover the remaining surgeon and hospital fees. Any amount contributed reduces my financial burden greatly!
