Update, surgery cost is 14k!! This is Douglas he’s 3 years old, the kind of breed he is usually comes with a disease that we just found out, it’s called IVDD many dachshunds have it, He’s a rescue dog my mom found online and fell in love, he gave my mom so much love and company when she was going through really hard times. He has a spinal cord condition where the discs between the vertebrae degenerate and rupture, causing pressure on his spinal cord and nerve roots. He’s paralyzed in his 2 back legs and is losing bladder control. I’m making this go fund me for anybody who could donate anything, his disease was caught early and usually shows symptoms when they get way older. My mom has done everything she can to keep our family together and Douglas is a huge aspect in her life his surgery costs $15,000-$20,000 because America charges so much, we have nowhere close to that amount of money and we don’t want him to suffer the rest of his life if we can’t pay it.
