Hello, my name is Dominique Mathis, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. This month, the money I relied on was stolen of my card. Because of that, I have no resources to buy groceries or cover essential bills like ConEdison (electric), which puts me and my family in an incredibly difficult position.

I’ve been doing everything I can to find solutions, but right now there simply isn’t enough to keep up with food and basic utilities. The stress of not knowing how I’ll feed my family or keep the lights on has been overwhelming, and that’s why I’m turning to this community for help.

A little information about me: I’m a single mom with three little ones. I’ve been working my entire life but fell short in October to follow my dreams as a teacher. So now I’m in school full-time and taking care of home. If I were working full-time, I wouldn’t be on here asking for a handout, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. I’m not asking for much, just enough to get by. $2, $5, or $10 would be greatly appreciated. Even if you can’t give, sharing this page means the world to me.
