As some of you may know, my mom Dina was diagnosed with stage 3 triple-negative breast cancer back in May of this year. Triple-negative breast cancer is an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer that spreads quickly. Once she received this diagnosis, she jumped right into action and had to get numerous full-body scans and biopsies to make sure it hadn't spread. It had only spread to 5 lymph nodes in her underarm, and that meant she could fight this and has a chance of beating it. She went right in for her first procedure, which was implanting her port so she could start her extensive and aggressive chemotherapy treatments. She has already completed her first 12 weeks of chemotherapy and is getting through it like the strong person she is. For those of you that know my mom, you know she is the toughest, strongest person out there and is determined to fight this.

With that being said, she is struggling in this next round of chemotherapy, and it is getting progressively harder for her to keep working. This new round of chemotherapy has depleted her white blood cells to nothing, and it is extremely dangerous for her to keep working with the public. Along with the physical and emotional toll this has taken on her, the financial toll this fight is taking is extremely tough with all of the medical bills that keep coming in along with her normal living expenses. I am trying to alleviate some of this stress that she is feeling about the finances so she can focus on fighting her cancer and getting stronger every day. She still has a long road ahead of her and another surgery in her near future once her chemotherapy is complete. Any donation helps and no amount is too small to help.
