I haven’t shared anything yet but my mom will be going into surgery this morning for a double mastectomy due to recent breast cancer diagnosis. I’ll share her post in my comments along with her Venmo if you'd prefer that route, but I decided to create a GoFundMe page for her without her knowledge as she’d hate to ever ask for anything, but she has always gone out of her way to help so many through the years! This surgery/diagnosis will create a big financial strain as she works extremely hard, has a full time job, and a side job so she can care for over 30+ horses! Many horses she has taken in because others couldn’t. They were abandoned or ones that were even dangerous to handle. I remember many trips with her as a child, saving horses no one could touch that would have their halters imbedded into their face plus many other sad situations! In saying this, I know once she awakes from surgery later today she will see this, and I thought what better gift for her than to find the help from many that care for her. The help that allows her to recover, to not have to return to work too soon (as she was planning to) and the help for the road ahead that she will endure! Every little bit helps!
