Hi I'm Lydia, the owner of Dexter and this is his story,

Dexter is a 6yr old staffy cross which we rescued as a puppy. Unfortunately we never insured dexter, wish we had.

At the beginning of the year Dexter had to undergo surgery to remove cancer, during his procedure his heart rate dropped and luckily the vets stabilised him. His recovery was going perfectly fine, untill 3 weeks after surgery he started having seizures out of the blue. For the past two weeks we have been back a forth the vets running tests, he's had 4 seizures within this time. Tonight we got an emergency appointment as he had 2 episodes within 24hrs.

We have done everything we can to help him and we'd give our life for him.

He now has to see a specialist in Runcon (4 hrs away in a car journey) and undergo an MRI scan for his brain and spine. This is looking to cost us £5,000 before any treatment.

We have never done this before, but this is our last resort. We are asking for your help to get the funds to find out what is going on with our beloved son.

He is the most gentle, funny spirit and brings joy to all our lives. We are beyond heartbroken that this has happened to him.

All funds will go towards Dexters treatment and test! We would do anything for our boy
