Hi, my name is Jeanette and I was Deidre’s best friend from third through sixth grade and we’ve always stayed in contact and supported and loved each other. Deidre is a single mom of two teenagers: Cisco age 16 and Catrina age 15. After working nearly 20 years at PG&E she finally achieved her dream of owning her first home in Paso Robles, near her parents. Then the storm of 2023 occurred and wrecked her pretty house with major damage. All the carpeting, landscaping, walls, drapes and personal items were swamped with water. Everything must be removed and replaced. She has no FLOOD INSURANCE as she doesn't live on a flood plain. Deidre never complains. She just keeps going. But this is heartbreak. She is the first one to volunteer for a friend in need or anyone of her family or friends. She has worked tirelessly for the boy scouts and girl scouts and done cookie sales and any fund raising or events that were happening for her kids. Or anytime anyone nearby needed help, she was there. All expenses to repair and rejuvenate her home will be borne out of pocket…she has done so much for so many others, she deserves a break!!! Let’s please give her a break and help if we can!
