Donate to help Debbie get home and healthy

Hey everyone, my name is Zac. My aunt Debbie Padios suffered a medical emergency while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Initially, she was taken to a private hospital where she was receiving treatment for Acute Kidney Failure and a bacterial infection. She received antibiotics and two rounds of Hemodialysis before being transported to a smaller public hospital. Since being transferred, we have been unable to contact the hospital or her and gauge her current status.

We have contacted the American Consulate in that area, and they have informed us the facility to which she was transferred has very few resources and no English-speaking employees to assist. She is essentially stranded as she does not know how to speak Spanish and does not have anyone down there able to help at the moment.

Our initial goal for the moment is to raise funds to either set up medical transport to get her back home to receive treatment or send someone down to help her during her recovery and get her stable enough to fly home commercially. Regardless, any help will go towards medical treatment and would be greatly appreciated.
