Donate to help pay for Dean’s Back Procedure

We have started this fundraiser to help my dad pay for a special back procedure.

I will try to explain all of this the best I can, with as much detail as I have. I may not be 100% accurate on everything because my parents don’t really know I am doing this, and they would rather not ask anyone else for help.

Many of you probably don’t know this, but my dad has been having back issues for a few years now. He went in for back surgery over a year ago. After the surgery, he seemed to recover ok. Then, his back started hurting again, and gradually got worse than the original pain before the surgery. To make a long story short, since then, he has gone in multiple times and tried finding Doctors to help him. Since he is a veteran, he uses the VA for his medical care. Because of that, he has limited resources. The pain is more than any of us know, because he is not one to complain, or even bring himself up in subject.

My dad has been searching outside of the VA to find someone that can tell him they can help. He has found a Doctor out of state that said he can help! It is a non-surgical procedure, and the they say it should bring his back to as normal as possible. The biggest benefit is that he won’t be in constant pain. I don’t have a lot of details on the procedure itself. For that, you can ask him.

A lot of you know my dad. He is one to never ask for help, but is constantly helping others. He is embarrassed to even ask for help, so I am. This procedure could cost over $20,000, and with my dad using the VA for his healthcare, it isn’t covered. His church has already raised part of the money needed. Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated and our family is very thankful for any little bit that comes in.
