Donate to help Dan with his medical bills

Hello family and friends of the Oddo family,

As most of you know, Dan has been on a medical adventure over the past couple years. It’s been an adventure because there have been a lot of unexpected twists and turns that have challenged the resilience not only of Dan but also of his entire family. Starting with a diagnosis of lymphoma almost five years ago, the strong chemotherapy Dan received affected his heart leading to congestive heart failure and, eventually, a heart transplant in October of 2021. Most recently, due to his suppressed immune system, Dan contracted nocardia - a rare form of pneumonia. All of these issues have landed Dan in the hospital numerous times, the most recent being almost six weeks to treat the nocardia. Dan is home now and doing much better but is still on IV antibiotics and receiving nutrition through a feeding tube. The tube feedings alone cost $500 per week which is not covered by health insurance. As you can imagine, all of this has led to more medical bills than Dan and Martha have thought possible.

This leads us to our Go Fund Me page. Many of you have asked what you can do to help the Oddo family. This page has been created to provide an opportunity to those who would like to offer financial assistance to Dan and his family. Your prayers and phone calls and cards and food and overall support through all of this have left Dan, Martha, and their family eternally grateful. Thank you for being there through the good time, the bleak times, the easy times, and the tough times. Dan and his family have made it this far. Together they can make it through to brighter days.
