Hi everyone ~ I am asking our families and friends for small donations to help Dan Caddell pay for a partially non-covered medical test that he's undergoing this week. It's a special EEG, and the goal is to determine what's happening in his brain that is causing so many seizures and strokes. These things weaken his heart, and he's also on a heart monitor. The expense in the current test involves the tech coming to the house, hooking Dan's head up, placing the cameras, and related equipment. Then the tech comes back in 3 days and takes it all off. The out-of-pocket cost is $1500, and we have to pay within 30 days. They do it at home rather than the hospital, which is better for the patient. We're already paying for an ambulance ride to the hospital and for some other out-of-pocket hospital expenses from past stays. And believe me when I tell you - Yes, I've talked to everybody from Medicare to Humana to the doctor's office, and there's no help for this portion of the bill. We have applied for Medicaid but are still waiting... Many of you know that Dan's health has been challenging to say the least, and I had to quit my job to be his full-time caregiver. Our family has done tons to help already and it hurts our heart to reach out this way, so please don't donate if you don't have it!
