Hi, my name is Dina Pearlman-Ifil, and I'm campaigning to help my friend raise funds for living expenses while she heals.

Some of you may know Cynthia Delconte, our friend from Delconte Photography. In August, Cynthia had a surgical accident that resulted in a severed brachial artery and lost the use of her right shoulder, arm and hand with an undetermined time for a full recovery. Because of this accident, she has not been able to work and suffers from income loss. She cannot use a computer, type, prepare food or drive until this injury is fully healed. She needs money for simple living expenses and transportation for occupational and physical therapy, doctors appointments and shopping.

Cynthia has had a thriving commercial photography business for decades and has been a regular participant in our community. She has donated to many charity events and has been the photographer at many of our family's weddings, birthdays and other celebrations, documenting them with great beauty. In fact, she took my wedding photographs this past June!

    

Cynthia’s career came to an abrupt halt, her loved photography which brought her both income and joy. There is no known date when she can possibly lift a camera up again, bringing her much sadness along with fiancial fears.

I am reaching out to you for any amount you can donate, so Cynthia will have money to live on while she heals. It will probably be many months before she fully uses her arm and hand, and can hold her camera up to her face. Cynthia has already lost three months. I know Cynthia is extremely anxious to get back to work, and we want to support her in her healing so she can do just that. Cynthia wants to continue giving us the heirlooms and photographs of our children and families that we all love.

This has been an excruciatingly difficult time for her, as she lost her husband of over 40 years in 2021. Please show her some love, and consider a donation of any amount.
