help Crystal Buntz kick melanoma's butt!

If you're involved in darts or are a part of the dart community, then you know the quirky little gingersnap, Crystal Buntz.

In November, Crystal was diagnosed with Melanoma.

The spot originally showed up on her hairline 3 years ago. She was told, each time she asked about it, that it was just a sun spot, and they would cryo it off.

It kept coming back, and they kept giving her the same answer to her inquiries.

She went in to see her dermatologist again and finally demanded a biopsy.

This is where the fun starts. I'm just kidding... none of this is fun.

The biopsy came back abnormal/melanoma.

Thankfully, this spot was still Stage 1b, but due to its location, Crystal had to undergo a wide local excision along with a partial scalp removal, replacement and reattachment. At the same time, they did a lymph node biopsy to see if/how far its metastasized. We should have more answers in the coming days.

As we all know, medical bills are outrageous. They get even more outrageous as the severity of the illness/treatment increases. Our friend has a husband (you have probably heard of him), a home, 2 kids, and 2 step kids plus all of us in the dart community that want to make sure she sticks around and doesn't get buried in debt in the process. We need our girl to focus on healing; not worry about how she's going to cover the bills!
