Hello, my name is Pastor Dale Pitsenbarger, and I am a former pastor of Rev. Joe Adkins.

 

Rev. Joseph Adkins, Pastor of the Vincent United Pentecostal Church in Vincent, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening May 25th with rapid growing Bile Duct Cancer. He has left behind his loving wife of 17 years and three teenage children.

As his friends affectionately knew him, Brother Joe had a purpose-driven desire to work for the Kingdom of God and felt that his calling was that of the office of a pastor. He and his wife loved working in ministry with children, but his heart-felt desire was to pastor a church and win souls to God.

On November 7, 2021, Joe and Terina Adkins were elected as the Vincent United Pentecostal Church pastors. They traveled back and forth from West Virginia to Alabama until the first of March, when they were finally able to relocate to Vincent, Alabama.

Little did they know that this move would be cut short by cancer in less than three months and that their world as they knew it would no longer be the same.

Terina, without any income, is now faced with the expense of moving their household items back to West Virginia and re-settling here. She is also faced with providing for three teenagers, 13, 14 & 16 years old. Until she can find employment and adapt to a life without her husband and her children without their father, we ask that people with loving and compassionate hearts reach out and donate to their Go Fund Me account. Nothing that is ever given in support of a child of God goes unnoticed by Him.

Any donations that you can give toward helping Terina and her children get back on their feet will not be too big or too small.
