Hi everyone, my name is Nectaria. I decided to do this fundraiser to help my parents in Greece, pay the medical expenses for my brother Vasili.

Vasilakis was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when he was one year old. He never spoke or walked. Now that he is an adult, he suffers from severe quadriplegia, is permanently lying in bed, has a permanent catheter and feeding tube.

Over the years, my hero parents have done everything they could to take care of him. Both my parents are over 75 years old and unfortunately, my mother recently had surgery to remove colon cancer. Soon, she will start chemo, because they found liver cancer as well.

The week my mom had surgery, my brother was admitted to the hospital with a urinary tract infection. As of December 14, he has been in the hospital and will remain there for at least 10 more days because they now found a germ in his blood.

Due to his severe disability, he needs a private nurse 24 hours a day. This means 150€ (about 220CAD) per day. My parents have so far paid over 4000€ (about 5800CAD) for my brother and my mother. Money given to them by close family members, who have already helped them a lot and cannot give more..

So please, help my parents to cover the upcoming expenses. They have suffered a lot and have to deal with my mom's cancer as well. I don't want them to have to worry about my brother's medical expenses.
