Hi, Kate and I have recently adopted this adorable little bundle of joy, Nellie. She is the most loving little golden retriever pup you could ever meet. After a long two and half days of driving to bring her home, we were so excited to start a new chapter with her.

An hour after getting home and settling in, she began choking on a piece of kibble and our world spiralled from there. We managed to get her breathing before getting her to the vet but she is still in critical condition battling aspiration pneumonia (blockage in her lungs).

Kate and I are staying strong for her but the vet bills are becoming overwhelming (just over 9000$). We are trying to give her the best chance of making it through this.
