Update: Dad passed yesterday, July 29th 2025

Hello,

I am making this page for my dad, Jim Boyer, who we recently learned has very little time left with us.

He was diagnosed with lung cancer back in 2021 and has undergone surgery to remove the cancer, chemotherapy, and radiation. Unfortunately, over the years the cancer has gotten more aggressive. The tumors in his lungs have increased in size, one of them now invading into the heart and preventing the heart from properly filling with blood. We have been told that there is nothing left we can do.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I’m not the kind of person that would ask for money. With how little time we have before my dad is expected to pass, we’ve had trouble trying to come up with the expenses for a burial. My family is unable to cover the cost of an entire funeral, but my dad’s last wish is to know that his burial is at least paid for. A little help can go a long way, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
