Hello there, asking for help is a very difficult task for me and I’ve exhausted all of my savings up until this point. My wife Erica and I are expecting a baby in early July and I was recently dismissed from my job. I was discriminated against due to my documented disabilities in my last place of employment and believe that was the reason I was let go. The discrimination continues as they are not allowing me to earn unemployment while I am currently out searching for a new job as they said I was “terminated with cause” although I followed orders to a T and was never provided with any understanding or compassion in my role.

The bills are adding up and Erica and I are worried about the next few months as she only works 9 months out of the year as a teacher and will be on maternity leave the second half of the summer up until September.

We are asking for your help. We’ve worked hard to get where we are, and with our daughter on the way, we don’t want her to enter a world where her moms are struggling to get by. We mostly need help covering our bills until I have secured employment and receive my first month’s paychecks. It would be greatly appreciated and we promise to pay-it-forward when we’re in a good place.
