Anyone who knows Amy, knows that she is one of the strongest women you will ever meet. As a single mom raising 2 beautiful girls, Amy works hard to make sure her family has everything they need. She rarely, if ever, asks for help. However, our friend need our prayers and support.

Since giving birth to her youngest, Charlie, Amy has been experiencing a lot of pain and issues with her nerves. The past 2 months, she has lost a lot of mobility in her legs. Amy had a nerve test done on her legs and that came back normal. With those results and the ongoing issues, they thought she had MS.

After consulting with neurology additional tests were ordered including an MRI. Thank God the MRI of her brain came back perfect. No indications of MS on her brain or spine. However it did show a mass that is pressing against her spinal cord.

Sunday, the surgeon came in to visit with Amy. He said there is a 10% chance surgery can go quickly and smoothly, but another 10% chance it's very complicated. He said the mass is alarming large and had most likely been growing for a year. It is taking up 90% of the diameter of her spinal column. He said he is very surprised Amy is even walking right now. There is a small chance she will be completely paralyzed. If she is not, he's not sure how well she will be able to walk. He shared there is a good chance she may never walk independently again.

With all of this, the last thing Amy needs to be worrying about is covering medical costs and wages lost by not being able to work. In addition to lots of prayers for Amy, for her surgical team, and for Charlie and Kalee, please consider making a donation to help cover expenses.
