This one’s for Corinne!

Corinne is a mom, to 3 kids & 1 fur baby. She is a grandmother to 7 and some paws too! Many of you know Corinne to be a selfless person who cares about her friends and family, and chooses to put them first all the time. Right now, she needs all of you to pray for her in this difficult time.

Corinne is actively moving from Rochester, NY to Apache Junction, Arizona. Shelby, Jaden, Corinne, her dog & shelbys cat started the drive to Arizona on Monday 6/16. They drove all the way to Illinois to stop for the night. The next day the plan was to get to Amarillo Texas, which we did. Unfortunately, Corinne became unresponsive when laying down and we called EMS. She was admitted to the hospital here in Amarillo for a stroke alert.

Corinne has ultimately suffered a series of 3 strokes and one of which is deep inside her brain that has affected her speech, swallowing and short term memory. We have been in the hospital since Tuesday night with her and don’t have an end in sight yet.

As of today, she has woken up and become responsive, but her speech is delayed, swallowing is difficult and she has hard time making words. Good news she has gotten out of bed with the help of therapy and has used a walker to get around with them.

We are not ones to ask for help, but at this time we have no idea what kind of funds will be needed to get Corinne to Arizona for rehabilitation.
